Just Another Manic Monday or Time to Change Jobs?

If you’re like most working Americans, you probably spend more time at work than you do at home (unless, of course, you work from home — in which case, you’re one of the lucky ones). So, why not make sure it’s work that you enjoy and find meaningful?

According to CNBC and SurveyMonkey’s latest quarterly @Work Survey, “feeling work is meaningful” is the most important factor when it comes to determining workplace happiness. What’s more, a 2019 survey by collaborative work management platform Wrike found that more than half of U.S. and UK employees prioritize workplace happiness over pay (58 percent and 54 percent, respectively). In short, happiness at work is essential, and work that matters may be the key.

With the majority (85 percent) of CNBC/SurveyMonkey’s respondents having said they are very or somewhat satisfied with their jobs, there’s no reason to stick with a job that you begin to dread come Sunday evening.

So, is it just another manic Monday? Or are you truly unhappy at work and in need of a career change? Take our quiz to find out!
